Travellers Site Abandoned
Believed to have been a Traveller's site, now isolated by changes in the old access road to the north east, blocked by piles of old tyres dumped across the one remaining access road, around 2000 or so. The access road from Carmyle, to the south west, was isolated when an extension to the M74 motorway was completer, cutting across the road.
Alternative aerial views now show this site has been consumed by Paterson's quarry workings.
