Strone Camp
Strone Camp was a World War II military accommodation camp which lay to the south of the A817 road running east from Faslane on eastern shore of the Gare Loch.
Evidence of the camp survives in the form of a number of hut bases still visible in the area.
The camp may have been associated with Strone AA Battery, which was located about 1 kilometre west, although this is known to have had its own accommodation camp a short distance to the west.
