The Pinefields Area Control at Elgin (Morayshire) is located on the edge of a WW2 camp; many of the buildings have now been incorporated into the Pinefields Industrial Estate. The long single storey brick building was last used for Civil Defence purposes in 1968. Moray Council's new emergency centre was under construction in the basement of the council offices in Elgin in 1990 but it was never completed.
