Howmoor Rifle Range
Disused target carriers

Howmoor rifle range lay to the west of Maybole in south Ayrshire, approximately three miles outside of town towards the village of Dunure.
The range was abandoned during the 1950s, following the closure of the Churchill Barracks in Ayr, and the remains of the target positioning mechanism can still be found in the undergrowth.
