Highsafe
Highsafe is the Highland Safety Scheme Nuclear Powered Warship Accident Response Plan.
The plan was prepared and is maintained by Highland Council in conjunction with the Royal Navy and Highland NHS Trust in compliance with the Radiation Emergency Preparedness and Public Information Regulations (REPPIR), in response to the the mooring of nuclear submarines at the Z-Berths established in Broadford Bay and Loch Ewe.
