Highland Motor Heritage Centre

⚠ (:tracetrails:)

The Highland Motor Heritage Centre was located at Bankfoot in Perthshire.

There is no remaining evidence for the existence of this venture in the area, other than some road signs that were noticed in 2000. The centre could not be found then, although there were some suitable buildings in the general area, which appeared to be a recently opened garden centre.

From information received, we understand that the museum was located in the building which now (as of 2012) houses the roadside café at the junction for Bankfoot, on the A9.

No online information has ever been found regarding the centre, other than promotional sites aimed at attracting tourists to the general area and its surroundings. These all contain the same basic block of text, pasted into the body of their content:

Highland Motor Heritage Centre
Classic and vintage cars, costumes and accessories displayed in authentic period settings. Driving game, free slot-car racing and motor heritage videos.

Highland Motor Heritage Centre, Bankfoot, Perthshire, Scotland, PH1 4EB.

Any further information that may be added would be more than welcome, thank you.
