HMS Templar
HHMS Templar was launched on 26 October 1942, pennant number P316. A British submarine of the third group of the T class built by Vickers Armstrong at Barrow-in-Furness. The only Royal Navy vessel to bear the name.

Sunk as a target in Loch Striven in the 1950s to serve as an ASDIC target for naval practice. . Salvaged on 4 December 1958. Arrived at Troon on 19 July 1959 to be scrapped.
Back from a successful patrol in Far Eastern waters, HMSM TEMPLAR arrives at the depot ship at Colombo, Ceylon.
