A single World War II quadrant tower lies to the southwest of Dunure, near Maybole, Ayrshire.

The quadrant tower is a relatively standard design seen throughout World War II, and was generally used as an observation post on various types of practice range used by the RAF, typically for bombing or gunnery.

There is no current historic record available defining its purpose.
