Barvas Rifle Range is a live firing range located on Barvas Sands on the northwest shore of the Isle of Lewis.

The rifle range has an overall length of 600 yards, with firing points at intervals of 100 yards (or 540 metres, with firing points at intervals of 90 metres), firing towards the target butt located on the shoreline at the northwest end of the range.

Red flags will be flown when the range is in use, and care should be taken not to stray into the danger area when the red flags are flying.

It should be noted that the danger area is not confined to the land based section of the range, and extends past the target butt on the shoreline, out into the Atlantic Ocean, where the danger area encloses more than two square miles of sea.
