AA Battery Restalrig
A World War II anti-aircraft battery was sited near Restalrig, Edinburgh. Site number EDG1. Part of the Forth AA Defences.
The battery was equipped with four emplacements, and may have been provided with GL Radar. An accommodation camp was located approximately 150 metres to the west.
The surrounding area has been completely redeveloped, and a postwar golf course now occupies the site where the battery and camp were located, leaving no remains or evidence of its existence.
