Er... well... you kind of gave it away by posting the link to the image instead of sticking it between img tags so the image showed... Mode of transport for a wee break?

I have revisited Toward Coastal Battery and covered the whole site this time. Since it is a modification of the existing picasaweb page I assume that the link will still work without modification. Be warned - there are a lot of Pictures. Time to let those who may not have realised it that we have our own set of pics of the Mugdock HAA Battery courtesy of Maden_2. Thanks mate. http://www.secretscotland.org.uk/index.php/Secrets/AABatteryMugdock |

I left 2 of the old ones in so you missed one! I put in the new ones because the weather was better when they were taken.
I have to point out that I do not have a toilet fixation. I have never come across a site with so many of them. Mind you the other question is," Why did so many toilets survive when other huts have long gone?"

Um... toilets would have been the last building to have become redundant?

Gallery added to the Small Arms & Ammunition Store page. Most of you will have seen the pics before! One of these days I will get the hang of photobucket as it always works back to front and I haven't figured out how to change the order.
I should have stuck with picasaweb - it is much easier. |

How do you upload, using the file list on the Photobucket page, or by the web publishing option in Windows? Oh, never mind that question, it doesn't really matter, as Photobucket is web hosting so you can use your pics on web pages (like SeSco's ), so there is no real 'control' over the order. This is unlike Picasa et all, where the aim is to let you present your pics there for others to see, and they don't really provide effective options for you to get a decent url or address to publish or show the pics elsewhere. Two different beasts in other words, so in this case, you're not really suffering any sort of 'Not getting the hang of' woes. If you really really want your Photobucket pics in a given order, you have have to upload them in reverse order as it will show the last pic uploaded first, in other words, Last In First Out, but it's not worth the effort. |

That is why I like pIcasa. Mind you whatever order you try and post them it does it by date/time as far as I can see but at least there is an easy fix as you can drop and drag them into any order as many times as you want to. |

Not the Fox's problem. If you keep up to date with the site news in the Blog, you'll get advance warning of any work that's due or underway. There a major revamp underway currently (has been for almost a month now, and has a month or two to go yet ) involving a refiling of all the pics on the site, due to a major foul-up on the part of em... er... um.. oh yes, the Admin, who didn't realise the implication of the primitive filing he used when shoving the initial pics away on their remote host, and the fool now has to go and move almost a thousand pics to new homes, and edit all the pages that use them. Such is life PS. There's obviously no point in reporting a duff pic while this is happening, even if it's a genuine foul-up not related to the re-classification. I can't really tell while all the stuff is in transit. I just have to see it through to the end, and post a notification some time in the future when the job is done - if ever. |

I hope this is the reason I cannot get the second St. Catherine's picture to appear on the corrugated iron buildings page.
Captain, I can assure you that I haven't moved anything! |

(No, you just have a link error typo in your St Catherines linking. nb - info: There's no top margin in rframes, only lframes - also the cm is em, it's not a typo in the instructions).
I'm trying to keep "The Mess" down to one letter of the alphabet at any given time, but as the file name of the pic is not always directly related to the name of the page on which the subject appears (a pic may be reused for a related subject, or be of something notable at the subject location), this is no guarantee of the pic file name.
For information:
Any pic url that contains "/swiki/*1/" has been refiled, and should be ok. The * in the url is the letter of the alphabet which the file name begins with, so will be replaced with a, be, c, etc. Any problem with seeing a pic with such a url IS a fault, and can be reported at any time - something it wrong and does need fixing.
Any pic that has "/swiki08" or "/swiki/" (without the *1 suffix) has not been refiled, and therefore may, or may not, be visible at any given time, so its absence does not signify a fault.
Would it help (for the regulars at least) if I put the current letter of the pic files that I was working on into the "Scrolling News" box that appears at the top of the forum, so you knew what expect over the coming weeks and months, saving you wondering how far along the alphabet we have crawled? |

Thanks Fox, I can see the pic of Ardarroch House - not completley ruinous - and with a fine slate roof which seems to be keeping it fairly weathertight, though the windows let some water and damp in.
The fixture in the foreground is the 'pig' that pumps the juice to Grangemouth and the hard to see slight yellow horizontal line is the pipe that will dump the foam on the tanks in the event of a fire. I helped to install that. |
