Mine does it with one button on the dash!

Maybe you should get a wee 12 V to 240 V inverter and one of these:

I work on the 'stopped clock' principle - the only timepieces I alter are my watch and the kitchen clock. (dance)

In the days of mechanical clocks, it used to be safe to say that even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

I have to admit I'm still impressed by the number of clock, and things with clocks in them, that I don't need to touch because they set themselves.

Strangely, as one who had to get a minder with a big stick to stop me collecting watches, I don't have one that sets itself yet. I think the problem is that they all look boring and/or have no other gadgets fitted.

Maybe later.

I thought I should repeat this note about DST/BST since it's taken me a week to bother about it, just in case nobody else has bothered too

This year there was hardly any coverage of the clocks going forward - if there was I failed to notice - driving along on that particular Sunday morning when the clocks moved forward, it was amazing to hear Parkinson come on the radio at 10am {but really it was 11 am and I was rather late).

Knowing my affliction for not moving any of my clocks forward/backwards to conform with the majority, a friend bought me one of those radio-controlled clocks - so at least there is one clock telling the right time in my abode.

Here is your periodic reminder to go to your Forum Member Center and uncheck the daylight saving time option now that British Silly Time has ended (for this year at least - I suppose it will be back again next year).
