Saw this video clip, and wonder if the design of this machine has ever been revised since the day it was first created.
While it was probably not when it was made, that would have been years earlier, I do have a memory of machines like this being a feature of the Clyde Coast Resorts when I was 'tiny'
They suddenly appeared all over Ayr one year, and on the front, with the gimmick being able to buy the hot doughnuts straight from the machine, in a bag with a shovelful of sugar thrown in
The machines were placed in the shop windows, and always had a crowd of 'tourists' watching the steady flow of doughnuts being delivered from the machines, or queues at the stalls on the beach front.
They were there for years.
