I know some of you have it fixed in your minds that I am obsessed with Firefox.

I'm afraid you're completely wrong, and I am merely dependent on it as I have around 80 add-ons which customise it for my needs, and I feel as if a hand has been cut off if I use another browser, providing it's not IE, which I just don't like much, at all.

Just to break the Firefox myth, I'd like to suggest that anyone looking for an alternative to IE might want to take a look at Opera 10.10

http://www.opera.com/

While it may not have the bells and whistles, it does now have some gems that come as standard, and if you want a fast browser, then it seems that not only Yours Truly, but many reviewers consider it to be the fastest at the moment.

It is a pain being separated from my 80 little tweaks and services, but on the other hand, when I just want to do plain browse and edit without these, Opera is very good - and worth a try for an extended period.

I like Google Chrome too, but it is just too too basic for me, and only gets fired up in a few special cases, where it excels.
